Dr. Annie Auletta was born and raised in Clearwater Florida. As the daughter of a local oral surgeon, she was influenced from an early age by the impact of dental care on a patient’s health and well-being. During high school, she spent her summers working in her father’s practice, which sparked her desire to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Auletta completed her undergraduate education at Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed her dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2013, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was a member of the Gamma Phi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society. Dr. Auletta returned to Florida to attend the University of Florida Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program where she had extensive training in restorative dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.
Being committed to conservative, preventative dentistry, as well as, staying current in the latest technology has enabled Dr.Auletta to provide the greatest health benefits to her patients. Her compassionate and gentle nature allows her to serve many patients with dental phobias. Dr. Auletta enjoys helping patients with dental anxiety have a relaxing experience and come to enjoy their dental visits.
Dr. Auletta has also dedicated time for community service and volunteers to help patients in need, both locally and abroad. She has volunteered her time treating patients at Florida’s Mission of Mercy events and has travelled to Nicaragua to treat patients in rural areas who do not have access to dental care. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and West Coast Florida Dental Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Auletta is an avid equestrian spending much of her free time riding and training her horse, Hans. Since childhood, she has been involved with horses and has competed in hunter-jumper shows throughout Florida. Dr. Auletta also enjoys spending time with family and friends, or a sunny afternoon at the dog beach with her chihuahua Gracie.
